Description
I've been purchasing the RGB2HDMI setups from Reinhard on his c0pperdragon store for several months now. One of the setups that I built for one of my clients for use on their Intellivision has been working fine since they purchased it all back in July of last year.
Recently I installed Lumacode into their 2600 and they just received that console back. As they had been using the Intellivision profile prior, the first time they plugged in the 2600 and fired it up it of course didn't look right. So then went into the profiles, selected the 2600 Lumacode and then it just went to a blank screen? And apparently that is what happens now after the resolution info comes up when you reset it or reboot it. Pressing the menu button doesn't show the menu on the screen, but their TV also doesn't show NO signal or anything like that. So there is something there coming through enough for the TV to know something is present. they have tried a different TV, different power cables and adapter, and different HDMI cable. No dice. It will just boot up to show the color swath and then the resolution and then...nothing.
The only suggestion I've had is for them to try and format the SDcard and reload the software back onto it to see if that makes a difference? My guess is that they might have selected one of the RGB profiles by accident over the YUV profiles normally used for Lumacode and the RGB2HDMI is just locked in at that mode now.
they have tried to power it with SW1 pressed and it hasn't changed anything. I've had my RGB2HDMI for quite a few months longer and mine has been abused quite a bit more in testing it with lots of systems etc. And I've never seen anything like this with mine. Any ideas on what could be happening or what might have failed that I will likely need to help them replace out?
