Too many updates

Hello,
I really enjoy Homarr, and been using it for a long time...
but i'm this kind of guy that likes to have his software up to date.

So.... lets take some look at the updates

• 1.30.0 (released at 2025-07-21)
• 1.20.0 (released at 2025-05-16)

From one to another there were 12 updates - so for the 2 months span - 12 updates.... it's ~6 updates per month, that means every week i'm getting a red dot popup on top right corner saying that there's an update

It might be considered as an idea - but can this updating process controlled via settings? Like
"Check for updates"

• everyday
• every week
• once a month
• manually

When i'm looking at the release notes i'm happy to see more and more features... but mostly i see the dependencies updates.

Hey, we decided for this release cycle (it automatically creates a new release every friday night) so we can deliver updates more or less as soon as they are ready to the users. If you are bothered with the red dot in the top right, one thing you could consider, is creating a feature request where you can disable that dot from showing as a user setting or similar.
