MELCloud AC unit swapped horizontal and vertical vanes

The problem

Was working up until recently, was still ok in early 2025.
My AC unit doesn't have horizontal vanes but they are displayed in HA and vertical ones don't work.
I presume some update swapped them.

Same issue for me, HA version Core 2025.5.3.

I re-added the device in the MEL application and same problem, it seems to be a failure of the HA integration, since it works in the native application of the app.

Same issue 2025.6.3, this was working last autum, and it’s working ok from MelCloud.
When looking status using developer tools, there seems not to be any possible state for swing (only swing horizontal has possible states)

I have 2 levels in my home, so during daytime I want to blow cold air downstairs and during nightime upstairs.

It works fine for devices with both horizontal and vertical swing.

Please fix the integration. It's been broken for several moths already and nobody is taking care of it.

I found an error in the Air-to-Air API and made a pull request to the underlaying library. You can follow the PR here: erwindouna/python-melcloud#4
