Description
The problem
Summary
After integrating iZone with Home Assistant, I noticed a mismatch in functionality compared to the iZone app.
Details
In the iZone app (Android), I can:
Turn the main AC controller on/off.
Set the controller’s temperature directly.
In Home Assistant:
The master controller entity only allows changing mode (heat/cool/etc.) and turning on/off.
It does not allow setting the controller’s temperature.
The system will turn off unless I set a temperature for at least one zone that has a wireless thermostat.
Additional Issue
If I turn the AC on via the iZone app, the master controller in Home Assistant does not reflect the “on” state. It only updates when a zone temperature is set in HA.
