Colouring state value based on state value

HEllo,
I've tried colouring state value based on state value in a glance Lovelace card with success.
Unfortunately the value is updated very often (it's a instant power consumption meter) and with template or card-mod leads both to a flickering colour. Is possible to add a feature to colour values on different range? A lot of helpers have been developed for Home Assistant and we have still to rely on third party card mod to obtain (badly) this colouring useful features?
