Customizable background color for vertical stack/horizontal stack/grid

Hi

I suspect this would be doable with card-mod, but I think it might be a feature that would be valuable out-the-box.

It would be nice to be able to specify a background colour for stack cards (vertical-stack, horizontal-stack) and grid cards.

For example, in the below screenshot:

Being able to specify a custom background color (in stead of transparent) which would take effect in the spaces between cards would allow for something more like this:
