Add "regex" to Text Selector to Limit input

I've seen and used the Text Selector here.
Is there any chance of you adding a regex (regular expression) as a Configuration Option to limit what can be entered.
I want to use it in a Config Flow to limit the users input when setting up an Integration.

The "type" could be "text-regex" with an additional parameter to define the expression.
