Automation state autocompletes - limited functionality

I was excited to see the automation autocomplete for states in 2022.9 but have been a little disappointed that it appears to be limited to only a few entity types. Is the plan to expand this functionality so the system does what basically we have to do manually and search the entity history for all possible states? At the moment for a lot of the entities the only auto options are unavailable and unknown.
