The options for interfacing with alarm_control_panel entities in a dashboard are not great. One option is a needlessly large, whitespace-heavy card:
Compare this with the new Tile Card when used for a cover entity, which is much more attractive and small:
Similarly, compare the entity row options for an alarm_control_panel entity and a cover entity. The display of the alarm is fine, but it would be great to have an interface that, like the Gate cover entity, indicated status as well as included buttons for the "arm home" and "arm away" functions:
