Navigation controls (keyboard shortcuts/buttons) to go back/forward

Please provide nav controls in the form of buttons and keyboard shortcuts as in web apps. It is such a miss now. I constantly have to navigate by clicking the UI to go somewhere, when most of the time I want to move back and forth between certain views:

• administering something that requires logbook
• pressing button in dashboard and then observing automation trace
• etc etc
