add empty grid spot option

please consider adding a core option to allow an empty spot in a grid. Currently we have to resort to custom cards, and eg do:

or

  - type: custom:button-card
    color_type: blank-card

to skip a spot in the grid.

A stock h-stack or v-stack card with nothing in it seems to do a decent job.

yes, I tried some of those too, thanks. they are the only ones I could find btw, without erroring. Markdown can be empty, but then does still show a card. All others turn the red error card in invalid entity.

that would still be hacky, and also possibly introduce stack card caused issues... just like the empty conditional causing a tiny space before. Seems rather true force method for keeping an empty spot, might even take more from the frontend ? Loading the stack-card, when it isnt required.

not sure if this is very complex, but I would think it would be easier on the frontend then loading a card with our hacky core way of doing things. ( [] or ' ' )
