Hide Calendar List Checkboxes in "My Calendars"

Is there a way to customize or at least allow hiding of the calendar list sidabar?

Something similar was requested back in 2020, but no info or other options are available.

I can delete the div.pane element in the inspector to give the desired appearance. But I am unsure where to address this in the code.
