Allow picture entity as dashboard background

Hi,
I am looking in migrate my existing Google Nest Hub to Home Assistant. I am thinking to prepare a dashboard with photos’ slideshow in the background and info/controls in the foreground.
I have uploaded all my photos in my local Immich instance and installed custom integration which allows to display a slideshow of these photos. This slideshow is available as an entity, so I can use picture entity to call the slideshow.
Now as a next step I would like to display these photos in the background of the dashboard. So I am looking for a way to have picture entity card in the background and some other cards with controls and information (e.g time, temperature, air quality) displayed over the picture entity. As far as I can see there seems to be no way to achieve this with current setup.
Would it be possible to allow picture entity card to be displayed as a background?

Thank for your reply.
After some further analysis I decided on different approach and will not use picture entity as background, but rather a webpage. I can see there is already a thread for that.
