State badges colorization

State badges in picture maps can get crowded very easily and distinguishing at a glance, as an example, open windows from closed ones is challenging.
Can we have the option of coloring the state badge icon based on state the same way we can do now for section badges?

This is a picture map with 3 state badges (not colorizable, you need to get the state from the icon):

This are section (header) badges (colorizable):

Notice the window icon below can be made colored when "open".
When you have several maps like the first one with a lot of state badges, getting the idea of what is wrong at-a-glance is not easy.
