Describe the issue you are experiencing
The problem
I want to confirm a systemic rendering failure of the Home Assistant Frontend on iOS 16.7.2 (iPad 8th Gen) that persists across all browsers (App, Chrome, Safari).
Since Core 2026.1, the UI has become unstable. The bugs are identical in Chrome for iOS, confirming this is a WebKit compatibility regression in the Core Frontend, likely due to recent CSS/JS changes lacking polyfills for older WebKit versions.

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

Additional information
Observed Symptoms:
- Broken Menus: In the Automation Editor and "More Info" dialogs, the 3-dots menu opens but is completely unresponsive (cannot switch to YAML, cannot see Device Info).
- Rendering Artifacts: Text and UI elements often disappear or are displaced off-screen, only reappearing temporarily after forcing a partial redraw.
- Sidebar Failure: The sidebar frequently fails to render or remains hidden regardless of settings.
Environment:
- Device: iPad 8th Gen
- OS: iOS 16.7.2
Describe the behavior you expected
The 3-dots menu should be fully interactive (clickable) to allow switching to YAML mode or viewing device info. UI elements should render consistently within the screen viewport without disappearing or needing to force a redraw.
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Open Home Assistant on an iPad running iOS 16.7.2 (via Companion App, Chrome, or Safari).
- Navigate to any Automation editor or a Device "More Info" card.
- Tap the 3-dots (overflow) menu in the top right corner.
- Try to click any option (e.g., "Edit in YAML" or "Device Info").
- Observe that the click is ignored or the menu renders with artifacts.
