Apple Watch Complications no longer updating automatically - iOS 26 Beta 3

Describe the bug
After updating the Apple Watch to the iOS 26 Beta 3, watch face complications no longer update automatically. Going into the Home Assistant app on the watch and returning to the watch face will update the complications. Manually updating the complications in the Home Assistant app doesn't appear to work.

To Reproduce

• Pair Apple Watch
• Create a complication that should change value periodically
• Add that complication to a watch face
• The complication won't update automatically at 15 minute intervals throughout the hour

Expected behavior
The complication is expected to update 4 times per hour automatically.

Strangely, I tried everything to fix it. Deleted the Home Assistant app from the watch, deleted and reinstalled the app on the phone, remade all my complications, restarted the watch, restarted the phone, and none of that worked.

Somehow, just randomly, it's now working as expected. I'm going to close this issue.

I am having this problem too... on watchOS 26.1 - do you have any idea how to fix it?

Try to power off the watch, and your phone. Then power them both back on, re open HA on the watch, and re open HA on the phone. Then go to the app on the phone and manually update the complications. After that, click back and click the green check in the top right to save and close the companion app settings (It seems to not work if I don't do this, so it's important). Then press the refresh button in the HA app on the watch. It broke the same way after each beta update for me, but that's the process I did that got it back working every time.
