Will HomeAssistant OS consider supporting RK3588/RK3588s/RK3582 in the future?

Currently there are no plans to support those, as even the older ODROID models are used with HAOS only by a handful of users. You can still use them e.g. for Supervised install, where you can also benefit from the possibility to use the downstream Linux with Rockchip NPU support (which is also unlikely to come to HAOS, unless the driver would be mainlined).

This is disappointing to read. Changing from Rpi to odroid transformed my HA experience and the M2 is something I'd be keen to get - faster and with more memory. I know I could move to NUC but odroid is a cheaper option.
There are presumably enough odroid users to have justified supporting odroid, why not with their latest hardware ?

badly that it will never be supported. i bought it 2 month ago. and now it rest in the closet

You can get it to work with Armbian (Bookworm), mine works very well.
I followed the following link at the time, hope this helps.

Head-up: I think to remember that I had to change the /etc/os-release file and change some values like NAME="Debian GNU/Linux", my brain is foggy it's been a while.

Just needed to install it again, the trick is once you installed Armbian including latest updates.
From the link stated above:

• Update to latest version:
  sudo -i
apt update && apt upgrade -y && apt autoremove -y

• reboot to make sure new kernel is active

• Then install required libs/apps
  sudo -i
apt --fix-broken install
apt install apparmor jq wget curl udisks2 libglib2.0-bin network-manager dbus lsb-release systemd-journal-remote systemd-resolved -y

• Now we'll install Docker
  curl -fsSL get.docker.com | sh

• Get and install HASS OS-Agent
  wget https://github.com/home-assistant/os-agent/releases/download/1.6.0/os-agent_1.6.0_linux_x86_64.deb
dpkg -i os-agent_1.6.0_linux_x86_64.deb

• Update the /etc/os-release file

  • Change the PRETTY_NAME to "Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)" instead of the Armbian one.
  • ** This one is important, HA won't install if the string is different.

• Now get and try to install HASS
  wget https://github.com/home-assistant/supervised-installer/releases/latest/download/homeassistant-supervised.deb
apt install ./homeassistant-supervised.deb

Hey, guys. We are Vicharak. We have RK3588 based Single Board Computer called Axon and are commited to bring software support like Raspberry Pi into the eco-system. Because we still believe RK3588 has most notable SOC features that home-assistant community can adopt to it. We already have added a support of Balena Io.
