import on time attendance Worked hour' of worked hours

Hello everyone!!

i am creating automatically an excel from another software and formatting the excel, i have managed to iron out many issues but im stuck for hours at the worked hour column

the time format for check in check out is accepted but the error i get which is 'Worked hour' of worked hours or 'Worked Hours' of worked Hour, is not very helpful

i have tried both names for the column Worked Hour or Worked Hours but still nothing

any help would be appreciated on this error

Thank you for reaching out. The “Worked Hour(s)” column is validated strictly based on the sample format provided by Horilla. Even small differences in the column name or format can cause this error.

To help you resolve this, please test using the following steps:

1. If you are importing from the Attendance Activity page
   – Please test with this **AttendanceActivity.xlsx*.

2. If you are importing from the Attendance page
   – Please test with this attendance_import.xlsx

Once you test with the correct sample file, if the issue still persists, please share the filled Excel file with us so we can investigate further.

hello and thank you for your prompt and thorough reply

as it seems because i was generating the excel file from code in order to import it, i copied the headers to my generated values and it worked, dont know why i didnt think of that earlier :/. Thank you again for your help

one last question i dont see any import button in the attendance activity page am i missing something?

disregard my last question as it seems their needs to be one record visible in order for the buttons to be visible

so thx again!! and a great software!!!!!!!!

Regarding the Import option for Attendance Activities:

You can find it here:
Horilla > Attendance > Attendance Activities > Actions > Import

✅ You do NOT need any existing records on the Attendance Activities page for the Import button to appear.
✅ The user must have permission to create Attendance Activity to see this option.
✅ If you are logged in as a Super Admin, you don’t need to worry about permissions—it will be visible by default.

Please double-check the user permissions if the option is not visible. I’ve also shared a screenshot for your reference.

im upping this thread everything works fine thx to the template you provided to me, my only 2 questions are

1. is there a way to auto validate on import from my excel instead of my selecting the whole column and validating?
2. also is there a way to disable OverTime ( we dont have overtime at our company) and i want to discard or somehow ignore it totally.
