Hi *T*omsmiley
Thank you for your suggestion regarding age-based reporting in the Employee
module. We agree that age analytics — such as *average employee age*, *staff
retiring this year or next*, and *employee counts per age group* — can
provide valuable insights for HR management.
We will review this request for inclusion in the *Reports* module. The
enhancement would likely involve:
-
Calculating employee age dynamically from the dob field.
-
Adding filters and grouping options to generate:
-
*Average age* across the organization or per department.
-
*Retirement eligibility* within a configurable time frame.
-
*Age group distribution* charts/tables.
-
Making these available as downloadable or visual reports in the existing
Reports section.
In the meantime, you can also collaborate with the Horilla open-source
community to contribute age-based filtering and group-by features directly
to the project.
Best regards,
* Horilla Team*

In HR Management age is very important. You need to know the average of your emplyee. How do I generate report on age?
Example: average are, Retiring within the year or next year based on age, number of staff within an age group.
