I intend to start Horilla HR on Production in March 2026, At the moment, I am entering the data for Jan and Feb manually. When I enter the check in and check out time for the attendance for a given shift, It gets marked as a Half day present on the work records, but it shows up as on time everywhere else. And the Late Come/Early Out view is empty. Is there a way for me to make sure the past records gets marked as a late in?

I added:

Employee Shift Schedule : 0800-1700
Check-in: 0900
Check-out: 1700

Based on your scenario, the first thing to verify is whether Late Come & Early Out tracking is enabled.

Please Check This Setting

Go to:

Horilla → Settings → Attendance

Make sure the option:

Track Late Come & Early Out

is enabled.
