Multiple OpenDTU-OnBattery and DPL

Hi! I have 10 Hoymiles HMT inverters and I need to limit the feed to the grid to 60% of kWp (Germany laws...).

I would need two devices with OpenDTU-OnBattery because it only supports 5 and they are too far apart anyway to connect them all to one system.

Would the DPL work in such a configuration? What do you think? I mean, each device is actively limiting the power but does not know that the other device is doing the same.

I found a solution myself by thinking. I don't need to control all inverters.
Just controlling two of my HMT-2250-6T would already be sufficient to drop below the 60%.

These two need to be on the same OpenDTU and the others do not matter...

How are you documenting this for your VNB?
In zherory your licensed installer needs to sign this for you and give the documentation to your VNB,
In my experience licensed electricians are very "careful" when signing of protocols.

Good question! When I requested the system at the VNB they had a remark on the approval form that I have to implement the limit.

Either they will never ask or when the control boxes (Steuerbox) are rolled out in a few months/years they will want to install that and I will tell them that my system cannot be controlled like this...
Lets see. But I have a electrician who might sign such thing for me :)

Last resort is maybe the Australian version of the DTU which has input connectors for the control box.
