Get script working on evercran's "pre" image for before 0.49

I believe that you can use the containers at https://github.com/r-hub/evercran to include earlier R versions, if you'd like.

Although, you'll probably need to update the code for this, as `ls()` in the earlier versions does not have an `all.names` argument. And the earliest versions don't even support packages...
