Theme not updating

I've followed the instructions on how to add a different theme to Left, but it doesn't work. Nothing happens, no error, no changes. (I've tried both Theme / Open Theme and dragging and dropping the SVG file).

(I'm running the latest build from itch.io, on macOS Big Sur 11.6.4).
