Error when trying to fetch Amazon App User ID using react-native-iap

I'm using the react-native-iap package version 12.10.5 for my React Native application on Fire TV. I'm trying to fetch the Amazon App User ID using the following code:

Expected Behavior

The method should return the Amazon App User ID without any errors.

I've followed the setup instructions for the react-native-iap package correctly, especially for the Amazon platform.
I've checked my Amazon Developer account setup and ensured that I have the necessary permissions.

are you using sandbox enviroment? if yes set your adb > adb shell setprop debug.amazon.sandboxmode debug

I am currently working in a sandbox environment, testing the application locally. To enable sandbox mode, I have executed the following command:

adb shell setprop debug.amazon.sandboxmode debug

However, it seems that after executing below command, I'm not receiving any response or errors. The application remains unresponsive.

Hmm, are you using which API version for your emulator? the amazon app tester only works with API 28- (android pie or less), are u calling initConnection() first?

I am testing on physical device (Fire TV Stick 4k, Software Version - Fire OS 6.2.9.7) . Yes i am callling initConnection() first.

At the moment, Amazon IAP / Fire OS is not officially supported in react-native-iap due to the lack of a proper testing environment on my side.

I’ve shared more context and the current stance here:
hyochan/expo-iap#239

If anyone from the community has hands-on experience with Amazon IAP and would like to help (testing, documentation, or PRs), contributions are very welcome.

I’m going to close this discussion for now and will revisit Amazon IAP support if proper resources or official support become available. Thanks for your understanding!
