Google Billing Library v8

Hello, i am using react-native-iap from years, at the moment my applications using:
"react-native-iap": "~12.13.2"
I checked that right now this package supports v 6.1.0 billing library.
Last week i received message from Google Play Console, that i need to upgrade to v8 or v7 which is must. Can you help me with this process if its possible?Should i wait for new version or i can migrate it now ?

It's not recommended to upgrade billing library immediately, I did to v8 and application crashes immediately with NoSuchMethod error. I'm raising an issue, you might want to check that.
