BSC Testnet – Checkpoint Not Generated Due to Inactive Public Validators

Hello Hyperlane team,

We are experiencing an issue on BSC Testnet where checkpoints are not being generated, which is blocking message delivery.

According to the system logs and UI, the problem seems to be related to inactive public validators, making quorum impossible. Currently, none of the 3 public Hyperlane validators on BSC Testnet are active:

Because of this, the relayer cannot reach quorum, and as a result, no checkpoint is produced.

Could you please confirm:

Whether these public validators are expected to be active on BSC Testnet?

If there is any ongoing maintenance or known issue affecting validator availability?

If there is any recommended workaround (temporary ISM config, alternative validators, etc.) while this is being resolved?

This is currently blocking cross-chain testing, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
