Darker overlay just by mentioning the name of the plugin in a side

I am writing some documentation for users of a wiki. In describing the use of the PopUpViewer plugin, I stumbled upon the behaviour of the plugin being executed when the name is written. I chose the names of the plugins for the headings, and as it happens, the PopUpViewer only shows the darker overlay, so the page is no longer usable.

I use Kaos and the latest version of the plugin.

There are two errors in Dokuwiki Log:

1. Error: Class "JSON" not found/opt/www/wiki/lib/plugins/popupviewer/action.php
2. Error: Call to undefined function trigger_event() in /lib/plugins/popupviewer/action.php

The PHP 8 don't have a built-in JSON class and function trigger_event() no longer exists in the current version of DokuWiki (Release 2025-05-14a "Librarian").
