Blackbox records current (and power) as logged by the FC. The sensor is irrelevant. |

For me, this line of code from the blackbox.c file excludes all current sensors except CURRENT_SENSOR_ADC. case FLIGHT_LOG_FIELD_CONDITION_AMPERAGE: Among others, my CURRENT_SENSOR_ESC is excluded from logging by BlackBox because of this code. I wonder why. |

My configuration:
When my F405 Wing is connected to a PC with iNavConfigurator, I can see the correct current and voltage readings from the ESC in the 'Configuration' tab. I've selected 'ESC' as the source for both measurements. Up to this point, everything is working correctly.
In the "Blackbox" tab, I enabled all logging options and reduced the recording frequency to 1/5 (20%).
My problem is that in the BlackBox logs, I can see escTemperature, escRPM, and vbat (which is read from the ESC), but I can't find the current value anywhere.
So as in the topic - can 'BlackBox' record motor current if this measurement comes from ESC (KISS)?
Witold
