Is skim still not recommended?

After your post about typo-resistance algo, i'm trying to come back from snacks picker:) But looks like live_grep not working with skim. So i saw your comment @ibhagwan, is it still true?

As I mentioned in #963 (comment), skim is a dead project and I highly recommend using only fzf.
We can add this (and other skim limitations) to the Wiki (it’s open edit to all btw) but it’s not high on my priority list as almost nobody uses skim (for a good reason), this issue in and of itself can be considered said documentation :)

This comment is old, the project is obviously not dead anymore and I intend to fully support it.

Make sure to use the latest (currently v1.9.1) it’s been very rapid with many bugs fixed it may not be released yet on your distro so you’ll have to compile from source.
