Inquiry about File Integrity Checksum Mechanism in MFT Jobs

We would like to inquire about the file integrity checksum mechanisms that are integrated with IBM MFT jobs. Specifically, we are interested in understanding the usage of CRC or other checksum algorithms in verifying the integrity of files transferred using MFT.

MFT uses MD5 algorithm for checksum. The -cs parameter in fteCreateTransfer command controls whether checksum is used or not. The default value is MD5, the other being "none" meaning no checksum verification is done.

how we can configure it with mft on openshift

MD5 checksum is enabled by default for all transfers. There is no additional configuration required. You can turn off checksum by specifying -cs NONE in fteCreateTransfer command. It is all documented in fteCreateTransfer KC page given above.
