Nothing stored locally

Installed, configed, started everything locally. Clicking pink button opens Create a Shopping List form but then clicking Add (after closing the form) shows nothing. Some details:
- When installing CouchDB, it never asked me to choose standalone or clustered.
- Futon interface looks very different from your screenshots and other tutes. The only option for cors is either true or false
