You must install .NET Desktop Runtime to run this application.

I compiled the project today, and I can no longer run the GUI application, not even from within the IDE.

Edit: strangely, the CI builds do no exhibit this issue.

VS2026 Community, latest version. Both normal and Insiders exhibit the issue.

I chatted with Siegi, but none of us has any idea why that might be happening.

To follow up with this:

• A new version of VS released today. I though that might solve my issue, but it didn't.
• However, after reinstalling .NET 10 and recloning the project, my problem went away.
