Phase-field model couple Crystal Plasticity

Hi MOOSEers,

I'm new to crystal plasticity (CP) modelling, and want to perform CP modeling of grain structures which is obtained from phase-field model. Now that CP model needs Euler's angles of each grain, how to generate them from the phase-field model and import it to CP? Any suggestions or discussions are appreciated. Thanks.

@GiudGiud Thank you for replying. I've learnt these two objects, and I think the question is how to get the Euler angles from phase-field modelling of grain growth and feed it to CP model, as I want to perform CP model based on the grain structures from phase-field simulation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks @GiudGiud . I learnt CP materials like ComputeElasticityTensorCP , ComputeMultipleCrystalPlasticityStress and CrystalPlasticityKalidindiUpdate , but don't know how to include Euler angle to CP model either.

And I don't get the difference between ComputeElasticityTensorCP and ComputePolycrystalElasticityTensor.
It seems the former should be used in conjution with ComputeMultipleCrystalPlasticityStress , but why there are also case where the later used with ComputeLinearElasticStress. Is this also within crystal plasticity?

Sorry for the very late reply. ComputePolycrystalElasticityTensor would be used for a phase-field model, where the individual grain positions are specified by order parameters, and the order parameters are used to interpolate the elasticity tensor for each grain. ComputeElasticityTensorCP would be used when with a crystal plasticity model, where the grain identity is defined in the mesh. The main difference is that the grains can change shape in phase-field whereas they are fixed in CP (except for coupled PF-CP models)
