Gaussian smoothing? #7
Description
In the NURBS-Diff paper a gaussian smoothing approach is introduced for knot span finding.
Reading the implementation I could not find this approach, the implementation seems to use indexing which is non-differentiable.
Is the gaussian smoothing not needed?
