Health check endpoints

Came across https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-inadarei-api-health-check. Any thoughts on taking this under the WG umbrella? It makes sense to me. I am not sure yet on the delta between this and the 4 implementations listed below.

Work is done here https://github.com/inadarei/rfc-healthcheck. In creation of this RFC following existing standards were reviewed and taken into account:

Kubernetes health
Azure health
Spring Boot
Node Terminus

+1 from me. We could use something like that. It would be good to get @inadarei's input as well.

"taking on more..." not sure i understand. is there more work to do on this specification? is this the wrong place for this spec?

I don't know if there is more work to do on the specification. What I meant was that there are currently 5 in-progress documents in the HTTPAPI working group. Personally, I would prefer if we could get past last call on a couple of them before adopting more documents. I do think this WG is an appropriate one for the health check spec.

Repos for all the active documents are in this org https://github.com/ietf-wg-httpapi/ The open issues, are open issues. I just went through all the issues in preparation for the meeting tomorrow and I don't think there are any major blockers. I think part of the challenge is some brave souls are trying to write more than one document at once :-)

@inadarei can you provide some idea about adoption of https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-inadarei-api-health-check? It is not clear to me if Spring Boot has adopted it. Thanks.
