Multi Account Managment Issue

I see there is a feature to add multiple accounts, and I noticed that when you add multiple accounts it opens a separate window for each, would it be safe to send max amount of mass dms on each account safely?

When adding multiple accounts does each account use a unique ID or proxy to avoid detection from instagram?

I want to use the multi account feature but i am not sure if it will be safe to send mass dms at scale for 5-10 accounts plus or how the multi account feature works when it comes to detection at scale and safety.

Hello @Kinowarriorzero, IGdm Pro does not use proxies because it's all running on your computer, so it uses your internet (hence your IP address), which is a lot safer than using proxies.

So when you login to multiple accounts in separate windows, it's just like opening separate browser sessions on your computer, and login to your separate Instagram account. So it's a separate sessions. The only caveat is that you are using your same IP address for all accounts. Which is not really an issue, until you are have too many accounts active at once (not sure how many exactly, but I believe 5 to 10 accounts should be fine)

Right now I’m running 5 accounts, but I want to scale to 30+. My concern is that all accounts share the same IP, which could trigger blocks from Instagram.

The idea I had was to use:

Sandboxie → to run multiple IGdm Pro instances separately so each account has its own environment and data. (or running multi igdm pro instances in its own virtual environment and then running a proxy for each account)

Proxifier → to route each instance through a different proxy, so every account connects with a unique IP.

My questions are:

Would IGdm Pro work correctly if I set it up this way, is it possible? if so, how would you recommend doing this?

Is there a way to point each instance to its own data folder so they don’t conflict? etc.

Hi @Kinowarriorzero you don't need to run it on Sandboxie to make each account isolated. The way IGdm Pro launches each account, they are already isolated. You even have the option to select which browser to use for each account you login to.

The only reason Sandboxie would be of help here is for isolating IP addresses. Since IGdm Pro currently doesn't offer proxies natively, then you can use sandboxie instances with different proxy addresses each, and different IGdm pro accounts on each instance.
