medium-term: register blog feed on Rogue Scholar?

What would be needed is a compatible feed. Ideally it'd have ORCID of authors, and a DOI string for each post (that Rogue Scholar would then use to produce the actual DOI registration).

The problem is that this is not a science blog and has almost no content beyond release notes at the moment.

I would be very happy if we could convert it into a blog that people are actually interested in following. But that's the first thing to get done. We do have a "Showcase" section of the forum. That could be a good source of interesting posts. The problem is low activity (including on our part!) on the forum: someone needs to put in the effort to build a community. I would very much like to see this happen and I am willing to contribute some time. But I cannot do it alone. Can you commit time to the community building aspect, keeping an eye on the forum, responding, encouraging participation, etc.? Finding people who'd be willing to blog and asking them to write a "Showcase" post first?

The technical aspects to get this done take much less effort.
