Version dates on WARC Implementation Guidelines might be wrong #91

I don’t know if this can/should be fixed since it’s part of the published document text (or if Clément Oury is still around to provide context), but it seems like some of the version dates in the “WARC Implementation Guidelines” doc are probably wrong:

  • v1.0 is listed on January 27, 2009, which is before the v0.1 first draft (June or July 29, 2009, see below). Some versions on the internet have the same date, but the one at https://netpreserve.org/resources/WARC_Guidelines_v1.pdf is marked January 27, 2010.

Relatedly, the date at the top of the doc probably has the same issue (since it should be the same date), although it does not seem to have been corrected in the netpreserve.org version I linked above. 🤷

  • v0.1 is marked as 2009-07-29 (July), but the description column says “June 29, 2009”. (I suppose the draft could have been published exactly 1 month after the meeting, but that seems like a long time and a surprising coincidence.)
