HomeAssistant Message Time Length

Would it be possible to add a user-definable parameter for the length of time that the HomeAssistant notification is displayed? While I absolutely love getting the BEQ load/unload notifications in Kodi, they stay on screen for about 10 seconds which is unnecessarily and distractingly long. Per the Kodi integration, adding a user-definable "displaytime" parameter would all control over the notification's time on screen

it would also be awesome if the BEQ author could be displayed as part of the HomeAssistant notification

are you saying you are sending notifications to your kodi device and not your phone?

Yup, it’s glorious!! Just on screen a bit long. Would love the extra parameter so I can shorten how long the notification is on screen

please try the pr-117 tag you should be able to configure the display time in the UI

Thanks! So I had notifications setup and working, previously, but now I needed to rebuild them after pulling pr-117. I think I filled out the fields the same, but now I'm not getting any notifications in Kodi. If I manually test sending a notification via HomeAssistant to notify.ezbeq, it works and I can see it in Kodi, but if I add notify.ezbeq as the target in the GoWatchIt config it results in an error in the log. Log doesn't seem to show much, other than:

I'm not sure if this is an issue on the code side or if I'm doing something wrong. If I change the target to notify.mobile_app_owenphone, then it works as expected. I haven't changed anything in my HomeAssistant devices etc, so I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting

Did you set a time for displaytime on the ui it could be defaulting to 0

can you also check HA logs it may have an error there

Possibly this? Not sure what to make of it. I was testing with a value of 3 instead of 15 for time on screen:

yeah I was using seconds and they want ms. Try using ghcr.io/iloveicedgreentea/gowatchit:pr-117@sha256:d8905e7eb915352c483bc2b3e9a6cf3fdea2169d6ac82d3a86d289ba5087e971 that should fix it

Thanks, that works and is so much better! That said, it appears there may be a minimum limit of 2 seconds. Anything lower than that doesn't work in my initial 5AM sleepy testing, but 2 seconds is fantastic! Me and my Envy Core really appreciate this tweak!!
