Maven Plugin Always Generates PlantUML Even If Mermaid Selected

I have tried this with 1.4.8 and I cannot get it to work with 2.0.0 (see #86) but no matter what I choose for <presenter/> in the POM file, I always get PlantUML. I cannot test further in 2.0.0 for reasons described in the other issue. Same test code here.

Any recommendations on how to troubleshoot and potentially fix/patch?

use <presenter>mermaid</presenter> instead of <presenter>mmd</presenter> @aj-stein-nist
