There are multiples parameters that are worth either explaining (like different interpolation types) or clarifying(like inverse option) in the transform function. Also these options are used across other different methods and it would be nice to have a (not necessarily exhaustive) list of methods which have those options. Would be an opportunity to check that they all share the same API as well.
