What's up with the extremely stricht Weblate Translation limitations?

Translation process
- Translations can only be done through suggestions.
- Suggestions are automatically accepted as translations once they have 2 votes.

• Any authenticated user can contribute.
• The translation uses monolingual files.
• The translation base language is editable.

Json uploads of translations has also been disabled, e.g. download of english and translate in a editor. Furthermore, who manually translates today? LLM is the way to go combined with proofreading/QC. A task that can decrease the work from days to few hours. That's really not inviting people to translate. Despite this it is never perfect due to context awareness is very difficult.

All in all, translation strings manually in Weblate is a horrible experience as it's "line-by-line" for both translation and voting, impossible to have an overview for consistency. Requires too many mouse clicks etc.

I suggest to consider a different approach. Allow json uploads, or maybe use git/PRs to get started. Remove voting for starters. Once a translated base language is build, then enable votings for changes, and it can be considered to disable json upload at some point when Immich is in a more stable state.
