[Feature] Nickname camera models

I have searched the existing feature requests to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

I would love to see the ability to nickname your different camera models. Sometimes model names can be very similar to one another, or it could be just some random letters. So it would be great if you could nickname you camera models so you can more easily search for a certain camera.

We all have Samsungs in our family and the camera filter combo box looks like a screenshot of the Matrix.

Not only are they very similar but every new model is additive to the problem. Even if I learn which one is mine, I will never remember 2003 model numbers.

Either model number or Manufacturer+model number should have a friendly name.

Yes would love to rename camera model to a nick-name. or have it automatically give friendly names from a database.
