I was hoping to find a feature request for this. This is also an issue I'm currently having. I'm on vacation with friends and I don't know who uploaded which photo. It would be great to have people who access a public link, give a user name and email. I know I could have created accounts for them, but the entry barrier is too high. They just want a link to upload photos to and to view the photos of the others. They don't want to keep track of another account with password. |

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Just to clarify - This is not a feature request asking for access controls like (#15842)
The issue: When I share a public link with people where they can upload pics, everything works great except the fact that I do not know who uploaded what. Especially useful if you need to know which friend to nag till they upload the pics they took!! Right now, I just nag every single person, which could get annoying. :)
The request: When accessing a shared link, Immich should ask for a name or an email address. This information could be made available on the info panel OR overlay it at the bottom of the thumbnail so we can view that easily.
Maybe another QoL request is that information needs to be saved into their browser so they can just go directly to the album after a page refresh OR they close and reopen the tab after a while.
