Allow custom thumbnail for face recognition result in People view

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Feature Description

The current People view shows auto-cropped face thumbnails, which are often unflattering, blurry, or zoomed too closely. This makes it difficult to quickly recognize individuals and reduces the overall visual appeal of the UI.

Suggested Improvement

Please add the ability to manually choose or upload a custom thumbnail for each person. Ideally:

• Users can select any existing photo of that person as their representative image.
• Optionally, users could upload a new image to use as the profile thumbnail.
• The chosen thumbnail would be shown in the People grid instead of the auto-cropped face.

Benefit

This would give users better control over how people are visually represented, especially in shared or family photo libraries. A clear and representative image improves both usability and aesthetics.

Additional Notes

Some similar apps (e.g., Google Photos, Apple Photos) allow manually setting a profile image for people, which greatly enhances the experience. Immich could do the same, even with a simple "Set as profile photo" button in the person view.

You can already do this, with the "select featured photo" option in the menu.

I've tried "set as featured photo" and "set as profile picture" but neither seems to alter the photo displayed!
