buffalo_l.zip no longer includes buffalo_l.onnx model file

Hello Immich Team,

I noticed that the current buffalo_l.zip file available at v0.7 release no longer contains the buffalo_l.onnx file.

Previously, buffalo_l.zip included buffalo_l.onnx, which many projects (such as Immich) rely on for face recognition tasks.

However, after downloading and extracting the latest available buffalo_l.zip, it appears that only auxiliary files (e.g., model.yaml) are present, but no ONNX model.

Could you please clarify:

Was buffalo_l.onnx intentionally removed?

If so, is there an updated recommended method to obtain the compiled ONNX model?

If not intentional, could the release asset be corrected?

Did you post this intentionally on the immich repo? Sounds like that was targeted for Insightface ;)

LOL.. My bad.. spellcheck auto corrected incorrectly..

In any case, is this the wrong area to post my question.. I cannot get the facial recognition to work
