#8365 is not for the same use case. My use case is to give credit to a creator by adding a link to a source close to the image shared. In court you have to show to the judge what reasonable actions you took to give credit to a copyright holder. Adding links is a good way to prove Fair Use because the source can get more clicks (and then money) than with just a text. |

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
End user needs to comply with Fair Use so it may help the end user to allow adding links to source of a shared image.
As an end user, currently we can put an URL string in the Exif description of an image.
It would be awesome that the URLs strings in the description be transformed in actual html links.
It would be even better with a
target=_blank
andrel=noreferrer
.<a href="https://request.urih.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">
