Fast forward in video player

On mobile (Android, v1.134.0) double tap seems to work, just have to avoid the next/previous arrow buttons. For web, the arrow keys are used to go to the next/previous asset. However holding shift and an arrow key will scrub faster. |

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Will there ever be an implementation for fast forwarding in the media player? For example double tap on one side of screen to fast forward 10s or use arrow keys on keyboard to fast forward like a youtube video.
