Description

Please consider adding the ability to display who uploaded each file (photo or video) within a shared album. This could appear as a small label (e.g., username or full name) beneath the media thumbnail or in the detailed view.

Why it's useful

• In collaborative or family albums, it's helpful to know who contributed which media.
• Improves traceability, especially when content needs to be verified, edited, or deleted.
• Encourages engagement and a sense of contribution among multiple users.

No, there is no option Mode for this. This is meant for public Users without an account.

I support this Feature request. I had this information on my old Synology Photos System and it is nearly the only thing i miss.
It should be a option you can activate while sharing a album.
If the option is marked every user has to write its name i a test field.

Perfect would be a Drop Down Menu with all Names currently added photos in this album, but you can add a new name. With this you can impede double data for the same Names.

As Mentioned, this is meant for public Users, not registrated users!

It is more convenient to see the name of the uploader in the thumbnail than to click on the photo details to see the uploader name.
