Need 'move' button

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

A move button is needed to move one or more photos from one album to another.
The situation I am facing now is that when I need to move, I add photos from one album to another, and then delete the photo from the first album. However, the result is that the photo from the other album is also missing, which means I cannot use the existing features to meet my needs.

I'm not sure I understand that last part. Going into one album, selecting all the assets, add them to another album, remove them from the first album sounds like a workflow that should work. What specifically is wrong about the result?

Our expected outcome is that the photos in the second album will still exist at this time. However, removing this photo from the first album will cause the photo from the second album to disappear simultaneously. The result of the test just now is like this.
My version is v1.134.0

I just tried it on the demo.immich.app and cannot reproduce it there. Did you make sure to select "remove from album" and you didn't actually delete the asset?

I noticed, I clicked on delete. So the photos in both albums are missing.
So we still need a move function that integrates these two steps directly, which can be very convenient, otherwise it is easy to accidentally delete the photos

We can leave this FR open, yes. Just wanted to make sure there isn't actually a bug and everything is working as expected. It'd be quite bad if images just magically disappear from albums 😅
